Bringing data to life through visualisation

Digitalising health and safety information

Cleveland Potash is a mining company that knows the importance of health and safety. In an industry where employees need the most up-to-date safety information at a moment’s notice, the company required a digital solution that made managing and updating display simple and efficient.

Getting vital messages to employees

We designed an interactive display which could be managed and updated by the HR team – so new rules, regulations and safety messages could be pushed live with minimal time investment. These displays also showcased performance metrics as part of their graphic loop which was pulled automatically from the company’s central database. We also created an instant messaging element of the display to allow HR to quickly push vital messages to employees, as well as a live weather feed and unique building-specific displays where required.

Unifying the team

By displaying mining metrics and other KPIs, staff could feel unified in their approach to working and company goals. KPI display metrics were pulled directly from company databases, so required minimal user input and time investment. The cross-site displays allowed HR to update safety messaging and send instant messages where required, giving them a simple route to mass communication with employees. It also ensured management rules and policies were available to review at a moments notice and by displaying this vital information, they benefitted from a system that ensured compliance, increased safety and kept their entire team on track.

“Cleveland Potash benefitted from a system that ensured compliance, increased safety and kept their entire team informed”.
